When it comes to paintball, there's no one bigger than Spyder or Tippmann, and all the top paintball supply retailers offer both of those brands. Both of these companies take great care when building their paintball markers, and the current models offered by both companies are very well engineered. Granted, there are better markers available, but when it comes to what you get for the price, Spyder/Tippmann cannot be beat! Both manufacturers offer guns that are perfect for paintballers at any level. They have paintball marker kits that range in price from $80 to several hundred dollars.
Spyder, or also known as Kingman, is the #1 brand name worldwide for paintball guns. They are really the brand that every paintballer starts out with. They have packages that are under $100, and they perform quite well for the money. All in all they don't make any spectacular guns, but their guns are great for beginners. If you are a paintballer on a budget, Spyder may be the brand name for you!
If you're looking for paintball markers with a bit more "UMPH", look at Tippmann Paintball Guns. Their X-7 Guns are incredible for the price, and even their lower end stuff is great. They are more expensive than Spyder Paintball Supplies, but you get what you pay for. Stepping up to Tippmann is what most mid-to-high range players typically do. The quality is a bit better because Tippmann is made here in the USA, and Kingman/Spyder are made in CHINA (like virtually everything else available to consumers today!).
